The Intercept announced that Obama's Administration increased annual military aids to Israel, after Netanyahu enlarge the number of illegal occupations in Palestina. Of course, rhetorically, these two actions are not binding with each other, but we can see some curious phenomenon happenning in this process. Let us see. First, there is the U.S. military aid to the Israeli government; then, this budget is spent in U.S. defense industry, and Tel Aviv is able to ensure the security over the illegal occupations; finally, U.S. defense industry and the (very rich and influent) jewish community support the campaigns of those who take the compromise of continue the inflow of money. Too bad for the Palestinians, who are only the excuse for this to happen.
It is not a sin to defend capitalism and its values, however, it takes only a more accurate look at the system and we can see that "liberalism" and "democracy" are two expesive lies peoples defend. We don't live in such systems.
One of the pillars of Liberalism is the defence of the minimum intervention of the state on the business and the individuals liberties. What we see today, however, especially in United States, is the use of the state's machinery to privilege certains enterprises, thus corrupting the democracy. The people becomes mere passive subjects in this scheme.
